A thorough assessment process completed within 14 days — helping you understand how your brain works so you can stop wondering and start thriving.
For many, the path to an ADHD diagnosis is filled with long wait times and clinical environments that feel impersonal. It shouldn't be that way. Our assessment process isn't just about a label — it's about giving you a roadmap.
We look at your history, your strengths, and your challenges to give you the answers you've been seeking for years, in a space where you feel safe and seen.
A consultation is required before booking an ADHD assessment.
Full transparency, so you can plan your care without surprises. Every assessment begins with a free discovery call — a chance to meet our team, answer your questions, and make sure our integrated model is the right fit for what you need.
Following the consultation, you'll receive a link to book and pay for your assessment in full. Paying upfront allows us to immediately coordinate your team of specialists and guarantee your 14-day timeline from the time of your first appointment.

A consultation is required before booking an ADHD assessment.
Our process is thorough but efficient — prioritizing your comfort while gathering the information needed to understand your unique cognitive profile. After your free discovery call, if you choose to proceed, you'll move through three streamlined steps:
Once you book, you'll receive a secure link to complete your intake forms (approximately 30 minutes). This is your chance to share your history, symptoms, and current challenges at your own pace — helping us build a comprehensive understanding before your clinical sessions begin.
A Note for Young Adults: If you're between 18 and 25, we'll also ask an observer (like a parent, partner, or teacher) to complete a short questionnaire. This adds an outside perspective that strengthens the assessment.
You'll meet virtually with one of our Registered Psychotherapists for a 40-minute structured clinical session. During this appointment, we review your intake in detail and gather additional history — building a comprehensive clinical profile.
This information is then synthesized and prepared for the Nurse Practitioner, so your final assessment is informed, efficient, and tailored to your specific presentation.
Booking Step 3: At the end of this session, you'll book your 75-minute Nurse Practitioner appointment.
Your final step is a 75-minute session with a specialized Nurse Practitioner. We review all gathered information, provide diagnostic clarity, and build out a personalized ADHD treatment plan — which may include therapy, coaching, and/or medication support.
Your Results: Most clients receive their diagnosis and personalized treatment plan during this same session. In rare cases where additional information is needed, your NP will explain the next steps clearly.
If you've been wondering whether you might have ADHD, most adults asking that question have been asking it for a while. Many spend years working harder than seems reasonable on focus, organization, and follow-through before someone helps them name what's underneath. Below, we answer common questions about ADHD symptoms, types, and treatment — so you can better understand your experience and what next steps might look like.
If you find yourself consistently working harder than others just to keep up, struggling to complete everyday tasks, or feeling overwhelmed by things that seem 'simple' — that pattern has a name, and you're not the first to wonder about it.
ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) often shows up as a gap between your potential and your day-to-day functioning. Common signs include difficulty with focus, organization, time management, emotional regulation, and follow-through.
A comprehensive ADHD assessment helps clarify whether these challenges are related to ADHD — and provides a clear path forward with personalized support.
ADHD shows up differently in each person. There are three primary types:
During your assessment, we evaluate your unique pattern of symptoms, history, and functioning to determine the most accurate diagnosis. Understanding your ADHD type helps guide more effective, personalized treatment.
ADHD treatment at SYNT is personalized, evidence-based, and designed to support both immediate relief and long-term growth. Depending on your needs, your treatment plan may include:
Our integrated care model means your support team works together — so your treatment feels cohesive, practical, and aligned with your goals.
Yes — an accurate ADHD diagnosis can be life-changing.
Many people experience real relief, clarity, and validation after understanding the root of their challenges. A diagnosis helps shift the narrative from 'something is wrong with me' to 'my brain works differently — and there are ways to support it.'
With the right diagnosis and treatment plan, you can improve focus, reduce overwhelm, strengthen relationships, and build systems that work with your brain — not against it.
A diagnosis gives you a clear understanding of how your brain works — and clarity on lifelong patterns. You can finally make sense of your experiences and move forward with confidence.
Undiagnosed ADHD is often misread as laziness or lack of effort. A diagnosis reframes your history through a neuro-affirming lens — helping you rebuild self-compassion and quiet years of self-criticism.
Move past 'trial and error' with a customized ADHD plan built for your specific needs — whether that's medication, therapy, coaching, or a combination of all three.
A formal ADHD diagnosis opens the door to academic and workplace accommodations — helping create an environment where you can actually perform at your best.
A diagnosis connects you to a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners and therapists experienced in ADHD and neurodivergence — offering care that's coordinated, informed, and built around how your brain works.
Understanding how ADHD shapes your communication, emotional regulation, and attention helps you build stronger, more honest relationships — with partners, family, friends, and colleagues.

ADHD medication isn't one-size-fits-all. Our Nurse Practitioners provide ongoing medication management — finding the right medication and dose for your symptoms, while accounting for co-occurring conditions like anxiety or depression.
